It has been said that "… true quality is a belief system put into daily practice".
At Maverick, we don't merely rely on our
Quality Manual and documented procedures to control quality, we believe quality must be planned into every job, and practiced every step of the way.

Why?  Our quality philosophy is based on achieving "quality results"; in the build-to-order service environment,  nothing is more important to our customers than quality, reliability and performance.

Our quality approach starts in advance of any production activities. A competent review of your product needs is made at this stage, we confirm our understanding of the requirements and interpret and integrate your specifications into a quality driven process plan.  The result is a computer-documented, step-by-step sequential production work order that routes, schedules, and controls the order throughout the production process to completion.  Our integrated MRP, computer-based shop floor control system logs events in real time and captures critical production, quality, and costing data along the way. The quality of your order is tracked from start to finish.

Drawing design requirements are planned and CNC programmed by Manufacturing Engineering.  A detailed, bar-coded work order routes material to each assigned work center.  Set-up and run times for each operational step are scheduled, and each production event is logged via real-time shop floor terminals networked to the MRP system.

Each order receives individual quality attention that includes identification of all inspection and verification requirements as well as special hold points.  Planned inspections are conducted using advanced instruments and methods based on nationally recognized standards and calibrated metrology. All inspections are recorded and documented.

Production order and inspection records are retained as a normal part of our quality system. Records include the hard copy production travel documents and inspection data records as well as production histories and purchasing records. Both hard copy and digital storage methods are used.

All quality records are securely stored to provide back-traceability to your order, including full materials traceability to the originating material providers and sources.

Quality Records are created during order process, filed by work order number and provide full traceability of all materials shipped.
